Doctors

Dr Harold Lifson has special interests in geriatrics, child health and sports medicine.

Dr Ian Calcutt is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has a certificate in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. His interests include paediatrics and geriatrics.

Dr Lawrence Chan has interests in children’s health, adult internal medicine and preventative health. He is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.

Dr Parbati Gurung is a Fellow of the Royal Australian Collage of General Practitioners. She has a Diploma in Child Health and a Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health with Family Planning Victoria (including Implanon insertion and removal) and does antenatal shared care at Werribee Mercy Hospital and Western Hospital Sunshine. She is Fluent in Nepali, Hindi and understands some basic Mandarin.

Allied Health

Tony Pirotta is a psychologist. He says: “Over the past 20 years I have provided psychological counselling to adults, adolescents, couples and families. Practice areas include: Anger Management; Anxiety; Communication, Conflict Resolution; Depression; Internet Pornography; Self-esteem; Self-harm and Sexual Abuse. My therapeutic interventions include: CBT; Psycho-Education; and Ego-State; Family; Narrative and Solution Focused Therapies. My motto is ‘Working towards better mental health.’ People ‘inviting me to be a guest’ in their lives in their times of need is a truly humbling experience which I find professionally and personally rewarding.”

Hilda Lee is an Accredited Dietician with extensive experience who combines best practice guidelines, the latest scientific evidence and practical experience to make good nutrition a feasible and sustainable lifestyle for her patients. Her vision is to see other develop a healthy relationship with food, and to promote health and nutrition to all members of society. Her interests include weigh management, all aspects of type 1 and 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and hypercholesterolaemia, food intolerance and IBS. HIlda will be available on Thursdays. She speaks Cantonese and Mandarin.

Sophia Ly graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Masters in Podiatry in 2016. An alumnus of La Trobe University, Sophia is interested in general podiatry and diabetic foot care.
