Fees and Billing

This practice employs a mixed billing system of private and bulk billing. Pensioners, concession card holders and children under 16 are bulk billed. A Medicare and concession card must be produced at each visit. Private fees are reviewed every six months. Please ask the receptionists for a copy of our current fees. All private accounts must be paid at time of consultation. We accept cash, EFTPOS or credit cards.

Payments can also be made through your HOTDOC app.

Fees as of January 1st 2023

Patients who are not bulk-billed should expect an out-of-pocket (OOP) fee as outlined in the new fee structure below:

A standard consultation (20 mins or less): $70.00 (OOP $30.25)

A long consultation (40 mins or less): $110.00 (OOP $33.05)

An extended consultation (over 40 mins): $145.00 (OOP $31.70)

Telehealth consultations (20 min or less): $70.00

Due to the cost of consumables, we can no longer offer bulk billing for surgical procedures. These will now be billed privately, even for concession card holders. Patients will be $40 out of pocket.

Additional costs may arise from treatments, investigations or procedures, pathology or X-rays for example. If you are referred to a specialist you may be charged a fee for their consultation.

Any doctors visits which relate to work injuries are covered by Workcover. Inform your employer immediately if you are injured at work. You will be billed privately until we obtain a claim number from your employer.
